Bigg Boss season 17’s contestant list is doing rounds on the internet and it has left the audience excited
Hosted by Bollywood actor Salman Khan, the season 17 of Bigg Boss is just a few days shy from releasing. Having made a mark as one of the most watched reality shows on Indian television, fans have been eagerly waiting for the makers of the show to announce the final list of contestants. Now that the show is about to be released, a tentative list of confirmed contestants has surfaced on the internet which has left the fans excited. As per the promos released by the makers, it seems like the contestant will be divided in three categories: 'Dil, Dimag and Dum.’
According to a report by Indian Express, one of the first confirmed contestants of the show is former journalist Jigna Vora, on whom Karishma Tanna starrer web-series Scoop was based. Adding to the list it is reported that comedian and winner of Lock Upp season 1 Munawar Faruqui will be entering the show. The makers have also approached many well-known YouTubers for the show. As per the media publication, internet personalities Anurag Dobhal, Sunny Arya Armaan Malik and his wife Payal Malik, Bigg Boss 16’s winner Elvish Yadav’s ex-girlfriend Kirti Mehra and Faiz Baloch are in talks with the makers of the show. Further adding the reports states that Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra’s cousin sister Mannara Chopra has been confirmed as a contestant. She had recently made the headlines after her Thiragabadara Saami director had forcibly pecked her on the cheek. Manasavi Mamgai, who was seen in Kajol’s The Trail, has also been confirmed as a contestant. Apart from them renowned television couples like Ankita Lokhande & Vicky Jain, Aishwarya Sharma & Neil Bhatt as well as Isha Malviya & Abhishek Kumar will also be participating in the show. Talking about Bigg Boss 17, it is being reported that Salman Khan won’t be able to host the entirety of the show due to prior work commitments. Names of Bollywood biggies like Farah Khan, Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan have surfaced on the internet as a possibility of them replacing the Dabangg actor when he is unavailable.
Speaking of the theme ‘Couples Vs Singles,’ the makers are reportedly planning to pit famous celebrity couples and singles against each other. If the reports are to be believed, they will be bringing in 5 singles and 4 couples together for the show. Until now many names have resurfaced the internet, leaving fans excited to know who will be participating. It was also reported earlier that Bigg Boss season 15’s beloved couple Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash might also enter the show as mentors for the couple’s team.
